Diverticular Disease

Diverticular disease, also known as diverticulosis, is the presence of small sac-like out-pouchings of the colon lining that balloon through the outer colon wall, called diverticula.

This condition is very common as we age, as more than 65% of those 85 years of age and older have diverticular disease. Please watch this video for a more information on IBS.
